Nassim Fares

Professor Nassim holds a PhD in Physiology and Pharmacology and the HDR diploma (Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches) in Medicine and Health from the University of Poitiers (France), a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy from the University Saint Joseph (Lebanon), and a Diploma in Medical Sciences Pedagogy from the Medical School of the University Saint Joseph (Lebanon).

He is a full time Professor of Physiology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University Saint Joseph (Lebanon), and an Invited Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of la Pitié-Salpêtrière, Université Pierre et Marie Curie (France). At the Faculty of Medicine of the University Saint Joseph (Lebanon), Nassim is currently the Director of the First Cycle of Medical Studies, Director of Research Master Curriculum, and Head of the Research Laboratory in Physiology and Pathophysiology.

Nassim is on the Editorial Board of the Lebanese Medical Journal, and sits on the board of many academic committees at the Faculty of Medicine of the University Saint Joseph (Lebanon). Member in the Society of Physiology and in the « Groupe de Reflexion sur la Recherche Cardiovasculaire » in France, Nassim holds the CNRSL and CEDRE scientific awards, and has had several scientific publications in peer review journals (RG 30.4). He was elected member of the General Assembly of the Al-Kafaàt Foundation in 2019.
