This is not the best of times.
This is the worst of times.
Is it the spring of despair?
No. It can’t be.
Not when we are around.
Stating that the crisis in Lebanon has reached its peak would be an understatement — or perchance, an early statement. Needless to say however, the current social and economical situation is excruciatingly challenging.
In light of this, our Foundation has started producing and donating on a daily basis loaves and bags of bread to the most needy families of our children with special needs.
This is all thanks to groups who have been supportive of this initiative.
Yet the situation remains challenging: it is our hope and prayer that the Ministry of Social Affairs will complete its 2019 due payments, and that HE Minister Dr. Musharfieh urgently signs the 2020 rehabilitation contracts.
It is our hope and prayer that the Ministry of Social Affairs resumes its activities so that we may pursue our social, educational, and rehabilitation Mission.
