Son of Nadeem and Lily Shwayri, Chef Ramzi Choueiri acts since 2015 as the CEO of the Al-Kafaàt Foundation on a benevolent basis. He holds a Bachelor degree in Law and Economics (University of Lyon, France). He also studied Culinary Arts at the University of London and trained in France where he became honorary member of the French union of the Patissiers-Boulangers. He actively joined Al-Kafaàt in 1992 as its treasurer and director of its Catering School. He revolutionized the art of cooking in the Arab world between 1993 and 2010 by launching the first Arab live cooking TV show, reaching 10 million daily viewers. His Culinary Encyclopedia (1997) reached unprecedented record sales in the Arab world allowing him to become a full-time benevolent active member of the Al-Kafaàt Foundation ever since. Chef Ramzi holds four World Guinness Records and the Medal of Merit from the Lebanese President of the Republic.
