AL-KAFAAT University: Class of 2016

There is no mountain high enough, no valley low enough, and no river wide enough to keep us from reaching our potentials at Al-Kafaàt. Rawane Chahine is one of the 300 Al-Kafaàt University graduates who received her diploma from HE Mr. Elias Bou Saab, Minister of Education and Higher Education.

In the heart of the Theatre of the Al-Kafaàt Campus, the Al-Kafaàt University (AKU) celebrated the graduation of Class 2016, in a lovely commencement ceremony that was under the patronage and in the presence of HE Minister Elias Bou Saab.

The event was presented by faculty member George Kehdy, with key speakers Professor Fathi Oueida President of the University, and Mr. Choucry Anis Fakhoury, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts. Graduate student Rita Said spoke on behalf of the students.

In his improvised and much applauded speech, HE Minister Bou Saab congratulated the students and encouraged them to remain faithful to the mission of the Al-Kafaàt Foundation, based on humanitarian values.

Fireworks and a cocktail organized by the Al-Kafaàt Catering School followed the celebration.
